This is only a secondary problem, not the root of the whole problem. It is the general handling of discounts. They should be handled separately and not listed as a position in cart. From my point of view this makes absolutely no sense except maybe that the development was easier. Maybe you could enlighten me and many others why it is how it is. Other shopsystems handle it different. I added a screenshot from an example shop of how it should be done in my opinion.
