This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots

  1. It should be possible to display all variants in the search results without them also being displayed individually in the listing.

    Currently, the variants are only displayed in the search results if you activate the expansion of the properties in the product list in the storefront display.

  2. At amazon it is standard to have product videos in product description and product pictures.

    So Shopware should have the function:
    - product picture (the last one) to us it for product video
    - link youtube & vimeo videos at the end of the product description or optional as separated tab

    For me: product picture (the last one) to us it for product video is very important for us, becausing using a lot of videos for using the product and describing the product.

  3. If having quite a big amount of promotions where you would like to adjust the sales-channel assignments, you would have to do so manually or directly over the database via sql - if I am not mistaken.

    It would be nice if either there would be a mapping for the sales-channel ids in the import-export profile or some kind of bulk edit for promotions.

  4. I stumbled upon this really good article by Splendid IT (German only) https://www.splendid-internet.de/blog/ist-googles-jpegli-wirklich-besser-als-webp/.

    According to this article, Google recently came up with a new library to render small but rather good looking images in a regular JPEG format. This is a completely new approach in order to be independent from the mercy of browser vendors.

  5. In order to comply with the GDPR, it is necessary to enable the anonymization of details within the order.

    Customers themselves can be renamed. But not the details within the orders.

  6. Currently, states with federal states can be created in Shopware and different taxes can be stored for each state.
    For the USA, however, it should also be possible to store counties, as in the USA different taxes can apply for individual states as well as for individual counties.

  7. Hi
    we would need access in the RuleBuilder to the different domains that are configured in a sales channel.
    This is because the domain - in our case - indicates which country specific part of the shop the user is currently in and we need to calculate the shipping costs based on the country.

  8. I think adding an option to choose a default value for the custom Fields would be a good improvement for the Admin. I was recently implementing a new Custom Field Set and I wanted to add default values that would be set anywhere where you would like to use the custom Fields.

    I just saw that there was also another issue that was opened a few years ago. It seems this is a wanted feature and would be greatly appreciated if you would plan it.

  9. If a customer requests a new password the password recovery page is very standard and simple. It would be great, if would be possible to design the page with a more user-friendly look.

  10. For the "placed order" flow, there should be the option of a delay, as in many cases the payment method changes shortly after the order has been placed, e.g. because purchase on account is declined or the customer changes their mind.

    In these cases, the order confirmation has already been sent via this flow and the mail therefore contains the wrong payment method.

    Also very important if there are different e-mail templates for the different payment methods. Here too, this often leads to a problem, which could be solved by a delay.

  11. It should be possible to deactivate the header and footer in the e-mail templates or, even better, to choose between different headers and footers.

    This would allow a much more flexible design of the emails.

  12. When creating an order in Admin, the following window appears every time

    "Payment request
    Would you like to ask the customer to pay the order by "Invoice"?"

    Many customers do not use this window as the workflow is different. As the window cannot be deactivated, this is a source of errors.

  13. Even if you have set that a customer can log in to all sales channels with the login data, it is important to see in which sales channel they have registered.

    For example, if you only enable purchase on account for registered customers after activation, you cannot find out which sales channel the customer has registered for and therefore cannot send them a suitable email.

    "Dear customer, we have activated you in our sales channel *** (?) for ordering on account."

  15. Some customers want to buy products they already bought in an order before as fast as possible again. Therefore, it would be great to add the products the customer bought in the last order to the "product slider" element in the shopping experience. Just add "last order products" to the "Product assignment" element after "manual assignment" and "Dynamic product group"

  16. It seems that the deletenewsletterrecipient_task only removes unconfirmed newsletter subscribers that remain in that particular state for longer than x-days. It would be good, if we could automatically remove all newsletter recipents that already unsubscribed and remain in status "Awaiting deletion". Those currently have to be deleted manually.

  18. Currently it is only possible to use shopware standard fields via data mapping in CMS elements. It would be great if we could also use custom fields here.

  19. Used promotions have a position in the cart, given the promotion's name. That name therefore normally should be something "understandable for the customer".
    However when having a larger number of promotions, it can get quite confusion to work internally with all the promotions in a shop, having nothing but these "customer friendly names".

    Solution: The "name" of promotions is their internal identifier. Above that every promotion gets a field for a public "label" which its position in the cart gets labeled when cashed in.

    Example:
    Shop has three different promotions named "10 % new customer promotion", "10 % newsletter voucher"…

  20. Please allow us to create a Rule builder to restrict Product visibility to customers who are within a certain radius of a location.

    E.g. shop is located in 3 Street Name, Suburb, Postcode. I only want customers whose address is within 30km of that shop to be able to see products from that shop. Customers outside of that radius should not be able to see the products.
