This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

  3. For internationalization, it could be very helpful to support RTL (right to left) languages like Arabic or Hebrew.
    I understand that we could rely on localization efforts of the communities in regions where these languages are spoken/written. However, I reckon in this case we could receive at least three different solutions and will not get ahead with translations until these solutions are ready: https://translate.shopware.com/project/shopware6/discussions/30. Hence, IMO it would be better to have a solution by ourselves ready to be used by the community.
    In language (not country!) settings, it should be possible to define whether a language is RTL…

  8. Our customers often share their campaigns on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and others. All campaigns are often linked to a landing page in the shop. It would be great if a customer would be able to select images or videos for their campaigns on social media right within the shopping experience. For that, the creator of the shopping experience could select in another tab like "social media" or something his images and/or videos which will be uploaded to the linked Social Media Platform.

  9. If a filter in a category is set the URL looks like this: www.example.com/shoes/?manufacturer=a7e1868c057044fab6f349838a42b1b9&order=name-asc&p=1. It would be great if the meta infos (like title, description, open graph, canonical, robtos, ...) and the url of such a filterd page could be changed dynamically.
    This page contains all "shoes" of the "manufacturer" "Rieker". "Rieker" is the parameter "?manufacturer=a7e1868c057044fab6f349838a42b1b9&order=name-asc&p=1".
    For the shop owner it drastically reduces the effort, because not every desired result has to be mapped in a separate category. Google or other search engines can index the urls better and bring the store owner better rankings.

  11. Challenge:
    Currently its not possible to maintain all data of the shop (address, banking etc.) centrally and display it flexibly in documents, imprint, mail templates...

    This problem does only apply to a very niche target group and is mainly useful if a customer does want to try out new markets "quick and dirty". 

    Usually, there are other processes and concepts in place to handle those main information and merchants do not need additional small configuration help within the shopware admin to represent their company structure setting in terms of addresses. 

  12. Challenge: Our dealers need to be able to maintain images for the individual languages individually on the product. Currently, this is not possible because the images are the same for all languages.

    Solution: The merchant can choose, similar to the variants (chain symbol), whether the images on the product should also differ in the languages.

  13. Currently, orders are being tracked by google analytics on the confirmation page. Challenge: when you click "confirm" you need to connect to a payment provider and for example if your card has insufficient funds the order will be tracked but not actually gone through.
    Solution: Orders should only be tracked on the "finish"/success page - or even better: In the analytics tab in the sw6 admin, you should have a configuration that enables you to set the "location"/time when an order should be tracked acc. to your preference.

    Value for merchant: More realistic/reliant feedback on actual order numbers.

  14. URLs are (from the domain) casesensitiv ("/Clothing" theoretically is sth different than "/clothing") . Shopware corrects that and therefore it´s possible to open any spelling within URLS (e.g. "/cLoThInG" instead of "/clothing"). Within the preview we explicitly spend "/Clothing" as a canonical-URL. Every URL should be lowercase by default.

  15. Currently its not possible to natively configure, if a category should be flagged with
    "index/noindex" and "follow/nofollow", which is necessary for SEO.

    Current workaround: use a custom field and theme-adaptions

  16. To ensure, that merchants can change their categories, shop system etc. without having to worry about the redirection management it would be helpful to have automation mechanisms for this within Shopware.

  19. Problem: a lot of effort to maintain multiple E-mail templates for each Sales Channel when using the Flow Builder
    Example: Different E-Mail content for each country-specific SC (the flow builder can't be used with variables in actions)

    Solution:
    A flow that is based on variables changes certain information in an E-Mail template depending on the order location

    Currently it's only possible to connect to one SMTP server for emails. There are usecases f.i. SC for different countries that need a separate for each.
